Public Auctions of Texas offers two ways to shop:

Online Auctions: We sell returned, overstock, and liquidation merchandise through weekly online auctions. Browse the available items, place your bids, and if you have the highest bid when the auction closes, you win the item. Auction items are available for warehouse pickup only during the designated pickup period.

Buy It Now: We also offer like-new items at set prices directly through our website. These items can be browsed and purchased without bidding. New items are added weekly, so there is always something new to shop. Buy It Now items are available for shipping or local pickup, depending on the item.

Create an account, browse the current auction, and select an item you are interested in. Review the photos, description, quantity, and condition carefully before placing your bid.

Enter the amount you are willing to bid and follow the prompts to confirm your bid. All bids are final and cannot be cancelled, changed, increased, or reduced once placed.

Our auctions also use a soft-close system, meaning bids placed near the end of an item's countdown can extend the bidding time and give other bidders an opportunity to respond.

After the auction closes, check your account and email for your winning invoice. If your card is charged and an invoice is generated for an item, you won that item.

If you were outbid and your card was not charged for that item, you did not win.

It is the bidder's responsibility to check their email and account to confirm their winning items.

Payment is easy! After the auction closes, we will automatically attempt to charge the credit or debit card saved to your account for your winning items.

If the automatic payment is unsuccessful, you will be expected to complete payment through the Global Payments payment link provided to you or upon arrival at our warehouse to pick up your items.

All winning items must be paid for before they can be released for pickup.

Auction pickup is available Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM–6:30 PM at our warehouse:

Items must be picked up during the designated pickup period for that auction. Items not picked up during the required pickup window are considered forfeited and will not be refunded.

Please plan accordingly before bidding to make sure you can pick up your items on time.

Yes! Someone else can pick up your items on your behalf.

The person picking up your order must have a copy of your invoice so our team can verify that they are authorized to collect your items.

If you are unable to make it during pickup hours, we recommend arranging for someone you trust to pick up your order before the pickup deadline.

AS IS means the item is sold in its current condition with no guarantee or return.

Items that are $40 or less, as well as items specifically marked AS IS, are sold as-is. This may include items that are used, damaged, defective, missing pieces, the wrong size or color, or otherwise different from what you may expect from a traditional retail purchase.

Always review the photos and description carefully before bidding. When available, we also recommend previewing and inspecting items before placing your bid.

For items over $40, if an item is materially different from the auction description due solely to an error made by Public Auctions of Texas, we will make every effort to provide a replacement.

If a replacement is not available, store credit may be issued.

Items $40 or less and items marked AS IS are not eligible for replacement or store credit.

Customers should inspect qualifying items before leaving the warehouse. Once you leave with your item, the purchase is considered final unless it qualifies under our replacement policy.

Auction items must be picked up at our warehouse. We do not offer shipping or delivery for items won through our online auctions.

However, eligible Buy It Now items purchased through our website may be shipped directly to you. Shipping availability will be shown on the individual product listing.

For large or heavy auction items, please come prepared with an appropriate vehicle, equipment, and enough help to safely load and secure your purchases. Our team can assist with bringing your items to your vehicle, but customers are responsible for loading, securing, and transporting their purchases.
